MM & BEH- George married and went to Tennessee. They had two daughters, Helen and Bernice. He shot himself to collect insurance money to settle the divorce and meet the demands of his wife for money. OR : hr did it to promise financial security for his family?
Jake and Curt Brown (sons of Dora Brown Marks) kept in touch with the children who lived out west.
DNH- Uncle Jake (Jacob Eschelman Brown) sent me the address of Bernice and I talked with by phone in 1991/2. At that time I did not know the relationship and could not get information from her. She has since passed away (1997). A family card is on file with the information that she did give me.
Committed suicide. Shot himself. Rumor was that he did it to collect insurance money to support the family.
