Anna Margaretha's place of birth is unknown, perhaps New England, perhaps Europe. Her year of birth is based only on the assumption she married about age 20. There are no extant records of her age at anytime.
She married Ludwig Friedline about 1755 based on the birth of their first known child, probably in York, York Co, PA and they were the parents of six children. It is extremely unlikely her maiden name was Lenhart. There is absolutely no evidence to support such a claim and I have seen the memorial to Ludwig Freidline, posted by Janet Firestone.
I no longer accept the WPA transcript as accurate (perhaps just a typo) and find it far more probable she died in 1801. On 29 May 1802 the six heirs of Ludwig Friedline (Sr), deed 50 acres of this land to John Hauger, with no mention of their mother Margaret. So there is no doubt she was deceased by that time (Somerset Co, PA, Deed Book 4:85). That land was described as now in Somerset Township.
Gravesite Details
Field stone: MF 1810 (WPA record, ca. 1934) - 1810 is a typo and is 1801. Weather has now completely obliterated any inscription that was on her marker.
