Isaish Davis' will was written by hand and is hard to read. He was injured on the eve of 26 July 1834 by the upsetting of his wagon, and was not expected to live. Wishing his son John to be the executor, and to keep his mother, Robert McCreer and Andrew Graham witnessed said will. Isaiah Davis died the following morning, 27 July 1834.
Note: Killed when the load of hay on which he was riding upset and he tried to jump and broke his back. Elizabeth Davis Cavanor says that his name had been proposed for State Representative just before his accidental death.
