John E. Humenik Jr., 63, of Port Vue,
died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000. He was
born March 13, 1936, a son of John E. Humenik Sr. of Port Vue and the late Mary A. Slanina Humenik. He was a retired machinist from U.S. Steel, Homestead Works. He was a member of St. Martin dePorres Parish, the Holy Trinity choir, and the St. Mary Czestohowa choir. He is survived by his wife, Donna J. Matthews Humenik; two sons, John E. Humenik III of Port Vue and James A. Humenik of Liberty Borough; a daughter, Connie E. Lucot of Port Vue; a sister, Pat Daly of Harrisburg, Pa.; and brothers Francis Humenik of Duquesne, Robert Humenik of Liberty Borough and Thomas Humenik of Irwin. Also surviving are five grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME, 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Worship Site with Father John Rushofsky as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary
Cemetery, Port Vue.

Donna J. Humenik Port Vue Donna J. Humenik, 71, of Port Vue, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at the Center for Compassionate Care in Mt. Lebanon. Born Aug. 28, 1940, in Finleyville, she was a daughter of the late Charles Edward and Mary Elizabeth Douglas Matthews. She was the wife of the late John E. Humenik Jr.; and mother of the late James A. Humenik. She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish in McKeesport. She is survived by her son, John E. Humenik III, of Somerset; daughter, Connie E. Lucot, of Port Vue; five grandchildren; sisters, Hazel Skotnicki, of Liberty Borough, and Gladys Krohe, of Irwin; four nephews and two nieces. Friends will be received from noon to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport. A blessing service will be held at noon Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Stephen A. Kresak officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue.
