Hannah S. (Baer) Neumann Hannah S. (Baer) Neumann, 94, longtime resident of Shiremanstown and most recently from Messiah Village passed away Friday December 21, 2012. An avid gardener and quilter, she made beautiful quilts for the family. She sewed many, many quilts and lap robes with the Women of Zion at their weekly workshops for donation to charities and nursing homes. In later years, she sewed together many more quilt tops at her home for the Women of Zion to donate. She was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Shiremanstown. Survived by daughter Joyce Printz and husband Bill, daughter Janice Baer McCreary and husband Dick, grandson David Printz and wife Linette and children Matthew and Rebekah, sister Julia Roth, Julia's daughter Beverly Warren and many other nieces and nephews from her extended families. Preceded in death by her first husband, Mervin Baer and her second husband, Frederick H. Neumann, and half-brothers and half-sisters. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at 11:30 am. in St. John's Lutheran Church, 44 West Main Street, Shiremanstown, PA. Rev. Michael L. Seifried will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. until time of services in the church. Burial will be in St John's cemetery at the convenience of the family. K.M. Knight Funeral Home, Highspire, is in charge of the arrangements.
